TIME - Mine or yours?

What does her future hold?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Playtime on Sunday afternoon.
This little boy is a year older now, not strong enough to make the right choices.
Time is running out for our world. Time is running out for the children of the world. It is not my time or your time - it's God's time. Let's give it!
Catherine, thank you for the time you give to these children every week. For many of them Sunday is a little light in a dark world...
Thanks for comment Pastor.
Last evening I got a glimpse of the hour we live in. We need to work fast!
Few days ago I prepared something for my other blog and left it in "draft". After this morning, I'm posting it.
Amen! My heart is with you on this, Catherine. I'll admit, sometimes I get a little discouraged when I don't see the results I would like to see, but I know God is in control and I must trust Him.
There are some kids we've been bringing to Sunday School now for 1 1/2 years and they haven't got baptized or received the Holy Ghost, but I will not stop bringing them! The Word of God is getting lodged in their hearts and I know I'm doing the best I can for them.
Please post more about your work in the the Kingdom - it encourages me. Love you!
Oh yes Tena! By bringing them you are doing your part!
I needed to hear (read) that again - the Word of God lodged in their hearts. I know that they'll NEVER forget it and will know the difference between the "real move" of God and some hoopla they might encounter later in life.
Some kids have been coming for almost 3 years (1 girl), other about a year and a half. Several have received the Holy Ghost - none baptized - family said no. Well when they get a little older... then it's their choice. God understands.
I'll post more soon - probably on my other blog.
Love you too! God bless you richl
I borrowed part of your thought.
It is not my time or your time - it's God's time. Let's give it!
More than one time in my short life, I have tried to grasp a question very close to your comment.
“Oh Lord what have I done and how am I using the time you have allotted to me? It is appointed unto. . .”
Mervi,
It is a sobering thought. Yesterday is history, tomorrow may be too late.
I understand there is a balance, " burnout" is not God's will.
Thank you for stopping by.
Yes, time is running out - and we must not get so wrapped up in "things" that we lose sight of God's agenda.
You are right Karen, it is easy to get distracted. We must be diligent and stay focused on "the main thing".
hey mom
I remember the little church that loved me and son#2 almost every sunday morning for close to three years...we never showed any sign of moving towards God ...and then one day you came and received the Acts 2:38 experience...then church became full time..and still a few more years went by...and that church kept on loving two lost boys...6yrs after our first visit to sunday school, I made my first visit to an apostolic altar and never left...been more than 25yrs since the first visit...thank God a church loved the little Sunday School Kids
the tides of life have a way of blurring the sands of time and we need to walk back over the way we came so others will know the path
Hi Son,
You brought tears to my eyes, big swelling tears. My heart is overwhelmed reading your words. Memories are flooding my mind. There are no words to describe how I feel. 25 years... hard to believe. I can still see it like it was yesterday, when you received the Holy Ghost. You couldn't speak english 'til the next day!
God has been good to those boys and their mama. One thing for sure, the least I can do is live for God the best I can - my reasonable service. How not reach out with arms wide open? Freely I have received, freely I will give.
Thank God for a church that love the little Sunday School kids.That Church had hands and arms - and faces and voices and smiles. Today you are some of the hands and arms, faces, voices and smiles that love the little Sunday School Kids. Thank you Son #1.
"the tides of life have a way of blurring the sands of time and we need to walk back over the way we came so others will know the path" - wonderfully said. You amaze me - I love your spirit and the depth of your walk.
Love, Mom
